With a precise silhouette and compact profile, W242 Pastille Pin distills functionality into its most essential form. Crafted from aluminium and steel, the lamp features a gently curved diffuser and a pin base, allowing secure placement in narrow surfaces such as shelf edges, desk tops, or headboards. The aluminium version enhances durability and thermal performance while maintaining visual lightness. Offered in four original colours, a newly introduced telegray 4, and a raw tumbled aluminium finish, it blends easily into both domestic and professional interiors. Its restrained form and technical clarity lend it particular suitability to reading corners, bedside tables, and quiet workspaces.

W242 Pastille Pin evolves from the original w182 Pastille, reimagined in late 2024 through material optimisation and engineering refinement. The updated model continues Wstbergs commitment to pared-down design and advanced performance. Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, known for their thoughtful, utilitarian aesthetic, bring a design ethos rooted in clarity and purpose.
