Made of rolled steel or stainless steel for long lasting durability. Totally enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure with no vent openings. Machined face mount with pilot on shaft end allows direct mounting with pump or other direct coupled equipment. Bolts pass through mounted part to threaded hole in motor face. Enclosure with no vent openings tightly enclosed to prevent free exchange of air, but not airtight. No external cooling fan and relies on convection for cooling. Suitable for use where exposed to dirt or dampness, but NOT very moist or hazardous (explosive) locations. UL and CSA compliant. Frame is 56. Additional quantities are available.
