Sofisticato NR. 04 Blue Steel D6 Ceiling Spotlight

Sofisticato is a collection of lamps designed by the famous designer Koen Van Guijze and produced by the famous French brand Serax. Sofisticato is available in different models.

The Sofisticato lamps by the French brand Serax consist of suspension, floor and ceiling versions. The design lines of this collection are minimal and elegant. Sofisticato thanks to its essence and the materials used, it adapts to many types of interior furnishings and to different types of space (both public and private). The collection owes its raw and timeless beauty to the minimalist design and the frequent use of blue steel. Or as Koen Van Guijze describes it: “A simple material, shaped by human hands, not spat out by a machine.” Every single part is manually milled, transformed, sawn, drilled and welded by craftsmen. Then the steel is heated and carefully polished by hand. This procedure makes the steel resistant to rust, as well as giving it its characteristic blue glow.
