Strand 40 Open – Suspension Lamp

Strand 40 Open is a pendant lamp designed by Benjamin Hubert and produced by the Muuto brand.

The understated and elegant appearance of this lamp allows it to give a refined touch in interiors. Strand 40 Open features a cocoon layer with a steel inner structure, PVC cable, and PVC-coated steel wire. The design provides both diffused and direct lighting, the latter through the top and bottom opening. The design is made of a sprayed cocoon material that consists of tiny threads for a complex and intriguing structure that, combined with its modern shape, gives the Strand pendant lamp an almost cloud-like appearance. Present in a living or dining room setting, with its cocoon material filtering the light for a warm and comfortable glow, the Strand 40 Open pendant lamp frees itself lightly in space, bringing comfort, harmony, and a refined sensibility to any room.
