Volant 333L Chandelier

Volant 333L chandelier by Ross Gardam, designed in treated brass and glass, balances sculptural poise with architectural clarity.

Composed of three suspended brass bars set at varied heights, the Volant 333L evokes an intricate composition of light and mass. Tubular glass elementsindividually textured and pinned in placeappear to orbit the structure, giving the chandelier a subtle sense of movement. Its modular design enables spatial versatility, offering a considered presence in expansive interiors such as dining rooms, lobbies, or double-height stairwells. Light diffuses softly through the white glass, creating an atmosphere both composed and quietly dynamic.

Ross Gardams work reflects a commitment to the craft traditions of Australian design. Each Volant component is machined and hand-assembled in the brands Melbourne studio, shaped by Gardams dedication to material innovation and formal restraint. The chandeliers poetic balance recalls kinetic art and mid-century explorations of modular form, while remaining firmly rooted in contemporary design practice.
