W242 Pastille Desk Lamp Clamp Long
W242 Pastille Long is a clamp lamp by Wstberg, designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, crafted entirely from aluminium.
Reengineered with precision, the W242 Pastille Long offers an articulated, low-profile design with remarkable flexibility. Its aluminium construction ensures strength and stability while maintaining a refined silhouette. The integrated clamp secures effortlessly to work surfaces, making it an ideal lighting companion for desks, studios, and reading spaces. Available in four muted tones along with a new telegray 4 and tumbled raw aluminium finish, the lamp complements both contemporary and understated interiors. A refined light source that quietly adapts to its context, it provides soft, evenly distributed illumination suited to focused tasks and ambient settings alike.
Originally introduced in 2024 as an aluminium evolution of the earlier w182 Pastille, the W242 reflects the designers pursuit of reduction and precision. Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, known for their exacting approach, sought to enhance durability and light performance while preserving the lamps essential form. As part of Wstbergs collectionan internationally awarded Swedish brand founded in 2008the W242 continues a tradition of thoughtful lighting design. The original Pastille series is exhibited in global institutions, underscoring its relevance in both functional and cultural contexts.
