W242 Pastille Short clamp lamp by Wstberg, designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, is crafted in reengineered aluminium.

Refined and purposeful, W242 Pastille Short introduces an evolved expression of light through a compact form. Designed to clamp effortlessly to desks, tables, or shelving, it brings precision illumination to focused environmentsideal for workspaces, bedside surfaces, and reading nooks. The updated aluminium construction enhances both durability and visual clarity, with a tactile finish available in five subtle tones, including a new telegray 4 and a tumbled raw aluminium. Engineered to deliver a soft yet directed light, the lamp integrates seamlessly into interiors requiring both function and restraint. The adjustable shade allows controlled diffusion, while the reduced profile maintains a discreet presence.

Originally launched as W182 Pastille, the design underwent a significant transformation in late 2024, reimagined into the aluminium W242 Pastille. Developed with meticulous attention by Hecht and Colin, the new iteration continues Wstbergs commitment to combining technical precision with human-centric design. Rooted in Swedish design values, Wstberg has collaborated with international visionaries since 2008, earning over 50 design accolades. Their work, including the Pastille series, is represented in major museums and design collections worldwide.
