W242 Pastille is a floor lamp by Wstberg, designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, crafted from precision-engineered aluminium.

Compact in form yet highly adaptable, W242 Pastille offers an exceptionally smooth, glare-free light distribution. Its reengineered aluminium structure introduces a refined materiality that enhances both visual clarity and tactile presence. With a tilting shade and rotating base, the lamp allows intuitive light direction, ideal for reading corners, workspaces, or quiet interiors. Offered in a tumbled raw aluminium finish and four soft-matte colours, including the new Telegray 4, it integrates discreetly into diverse settingswhether arranged individually or in multiples across larger architectural spaces.

Wstbergs collaboration with Hecht and Colin reflects a shared commitment to purposeful design and essential form. Originally released in 2024 as an evolution of the earlier w182 Pastille, this version distils the objects character through material innovation and technical refinement. The design echoes the quiet rationality of postwar modernism while aligning with contemporary environmental and functional standards.
