W242 Pastille table lamp by Wstberg, designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, redefines functionality with precision-engineered aluminium construction.

With its refined aluminium body, W242 Pastille introduces a tactile and thoughtfully scaled presence to any setting. Its slim disc form balances visual lightness with structural integrity, offering a warm yet directed glow ideal for desks, bedside tables, or reading corners. The lamps articulated arm and adjustable head support a seamless user interaction, while the finish optionsincluding the new telegray 4 and tumbled raw aluminiumadd a muted sophistication to a range of interiors. This edition advances the performance of the original design while preserving its understated elegance.

Originally launched as W182 Pastille, this design was reimagined in 2024 through a careful transition to aluminium, enhancing durability and environmental consideration. The project reflects the long-standing collaboration between Wstberg and the London-based duo Hecht and Colin, whose approach draws from both industrial clarity and human sensitivity. Wstberg, founded in 2008, has built a reputation for restrained, purposeful lighting and has been recognised globally with over 50 design awards. Pieces like W242 Pastille exemplify the brands commitment to lighting that transcends utility, featured in museums and collections worldwide.
