An evolution of the original concept, W242 Pastille Bracket Long reinterprets the lamp in aluminiumlightweight, durable, and precisely engineered. Its extended bracket provides a sculptural yet practical presence, suitable for spaces requiring directional or ambient lighting. The lamps restrained geometry and neutral palettenow including a telegray 4 option and a tumbled raw aluminium finishlend it a quiet adaptability, ideal for bedrooms, reading areas, or intimate public interiors. Every element is purposeful: the curved disc diffuses light with subtlety, and the arms proportions allow for balanced extension without intrusion. While inherently functional, its presence encourages visual stillness and spatial coherence.

Originally launched as w182 Pastille, this refined editionreleased in late 2024marks a thoughtful progression in both form and function. Hecht and Colin, known for their rigorous clarity, distilled the design further through the aluminium version. Wstberg, founded in 2008 in Helsingborg, has consistently championed understated yet intelligent lighting. With over 50 international design awards and collaborations spanning David Chipperfield to Ilse Crawford, Wstbergs creations are held in design collections and museums worldwide. The W242 Pastille aligns with this legacy: a distillation of utility, restraint, and material sensitivity shaped by a quietly influential vision.
